DEGREE NAVIGATOR

Our implementation of Degree Navigator is a work in progress. We encourage students, faculty and staff to review degrees, options and features available. Please contact us about any errors or questions.

Degree Requirements Year: Degree requirements are linked to an academic year, which begins with the summer term and ends with the subsequent spring semester. The requirements for each undergraduate degree program for each academic year are listed on a degree program checksheet. Undergraduate students may choose to graduate under the degree requirements in effect at the time of their first enrollment in the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education, provided they complete the degree within the time limit specified for that degree. However, with approval of the student's college, a student may elect to update to a more recent set of requirements. Students who have exceeded the time limit for their degree will be updated by their college. If in doubt as to your degree requirements year, please consult your academic advisor or college advising office.

Currently, all undergraduate degree/program requirements are online. Additional catalog requirement years are being added daily to various degrees/programs.

If the statement "The catalog YEAR of your major or minor was not found in the Degree Navigator System." appears where a major/minor should, this indicates that the system requires entry of an appropriate catalog year by your college. (At this time, 2009 catalog requirements are being loaded to the system.) Until a matching catalog is found, you will need to "shop" yourself through your desired program.

The Graduate College programs are currently being reviewed by the Graduate College. Pending completion of that review, Degree Navigator audits should be relied on ONLY in consultation with your Graduate College Adviser.

Degree Navigator is intended to be used as a supplement to your degree sheet, General Catalog and Academic Advising, not to replace them. It is your responsibility to meet graduation requirements.

The system is available 24/7 with the exception of 3:00 - 6:00 A.M. on Sundays for backups.

Degree Navigator will not reflect enrollments in May 2009 Intersession today (May 10th).
